Lesbo, Grecia, Europa. Il campo profughi di Moria, situato sulla collina dell’isola di Lesbo, si affaccia sulla costa turca. Qui è dove il sogno si frantuma. Il campo è il paradosso dei diritti umani decantati da un mondo democratico. Il sogno svanisce nei corpi di 20000 persone. I migranti vivono in condizioni disumane senza i più basilari diritti umani, in uno spazio concepito per 2500 persone, con un disastroso sistema igienico sanitario . Quasi ogni notte avvengono vere e proprie guerriglie tra bande. Le proteste per queste condizioni di vita si scontrano con la ferocia dei gas lacrimogeni sparati anche su donne e bambini, da parte della Polizia. Nessuno è risparmiato. La fine dell’esodo, la fine dell’Europa.

Lesbos, Greece, Europe. The refugee camp at Moria, sits on the hill in Lesbo island, overlooking the Turkish coast. This is where the dream dies. The camp is a paradox of human rights praised by a democratic world. The dream disappears in the bodies of 20 thousand people. They live in appalling conditions without the most basic rights, in the cold, in a field designed for 2500, with insufficient sanitation that beggars belief. Almost every night there are fights. The Protests for these conditions cease with the violence of firing of gas by police against all – no-one is spared. The end of an exodus, the end of Europe.
